I have worked in the arts, museum, history, municipal and arts education communities for over 20 years.
I have worked recently for a commercial gallery in Tribeca, NYC in which we celebrated the gallery’s 30th year of programming with a major show of work by Keith Haring as well as public programs that included showing films Haring made. I am also currently working with an artist named K.S. Ernst as she prepares her archive for Ohio State University's Avant Writing Collection, Rare Books & Manuscripts Library. I have also worked to place Ernst’s art in major USA collections including recent purchases by Yale University and the private Sackner Visual Poetry Collection.
I am working on project development and funding with the CUNY Graduate Center in NYC to activate a Contemporary Arts Council, comprised of donors, professionals, and faculty which would result in a number of campus based arts programs. I work for the College of New Jersey, on their travelling exhibition program through the College Art Gallery, and for the Hardwick Historical Society as they develop a funding and programmatic plan for the Vass Farmstead at White Lake which has been stabilized with State and County grants in New Jersey. I just completed a project where I served as the Program Director for Sustainable Jersey programs funded by the Wal-mart Foundation grants for innovation in sustainable education programs. These new initiatives link historic preservation, land and water conservation, and "new" sustainable living practices. I am currently dogin development work for a start-up museum and community education facility.
As a consultant, working daily with the arts, artists, and arts and cultural/humanities programs. I work on a project by project basis and am confident that I could be your appropriate and cost-effective support person as you develop your next project.
